Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. Her current position is that of president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA's majority owners. Buss was born in California and grew up as part of a wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was an investor in real estate and went on to own the Lakers and various other sports organizations. The couple divorced in 1972 and she began to feel emotionally left behind. As a 19-year-old she was able to take over the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as General Manager. Later, she founded in the Los Angeles Blades, a professional team of roller hockey. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming Vice President for the Lakers. Buss took over her share of the Lakers by her dad in the year 2013. Five siblings of hers were the inheritors through a family estate trust. Buss was elected in 2013 to take charge of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is co-owner of Women of Wrestling an pro-wrestling promotion company that is based in Los Angeles.
